Teaser page Update #3: Still Day 3
As everyone will be aware, Zyuu has already revealed that Blizzard have posted a new splash update for the teaser they are running on their various different game sites.

The latest entry into the teaser project finally breaks the ice revealing a starry sky through the crack. As well as that, the newest rune that has been added to the splash image has already been likened to the StarCraft franchise, being revealed as the Protoss logo. So far, we have had the following three runes:
Day 1 - Frostmourne Rune - World of Warcraft
Day 2 - Nef Rune - Diablo
Day 3 - Protoss symbol - StarCraft
Many are speculating that a fourth and fifth rune will be added tomorrow and on Friday, leading to the announcement at The WWIs during the opening ceremony on Saturday. If all goes as I assume, we may see the next symbol representing the Warcraft RTS franchise, as Blizzard have counted World of Warcraft and Warcraft as separate entities before. That however is mere speculation. The below image better details the puzzle!

The next addition to the teaser project was the third addition to the artwork that has been hidden away in the CSS. Many are claiming that it will be revealed to be a cartoon Diablo, wearing a purple warmer, hunched over a camp fire and I do remember seeing something along those lines. As was speculated, the new image is the top right corner of the image. You can see the new image fixed in place in the above picture.

The guys over at DiabloFans.com has once again been busy at work and have revealed a rather interesting bit of information.
The mystery image today was titled 23.jpg -- in the alphabet that corresponds to the letter "W". Now we were trailed off completely. The previous sequences were interpreted as a D, an I and an O from Diablo. A letter W wouldn't make sense with only three days left. Unless it meant World of Diablo Online, but two letter or three remain to be released probably. Could the numbers instead refer to Diablo runes?
As well as this, MD is reporting about some action with another Blizzard title that may have something to do with the WWIs.
A little birdie from inside -- and I know the source somewhat -- told me today something about Blackthorne. Remember a few months ago when I reported Blackthorne trademark had been updated? Seems there might be two game announcements after all -- simple speculation.
Time for the debate! Do you guys think this latest development has ruled out a new Diablo title? Could the movement with the Blackthorne trademark be an indication of things to come? Or is this simply an advertisement for the WWIs?
Update: Many people are stating that the first rune has changed and that it now looks a lot less like the Forstmourne rune and a lot more like a Diablo rune. Perhaps this is another piece in the ever growing puzzle?
