SinR, I have to agree with you. I honestly, after thinking it might be RotLC, think that it might be something alone those lines. A new game.

Also, I DO remember seeing something recently about signing up for a random raffle to beta test unreleased, unannounced games in the future... I cant remember that link though.. but it was on the WoW site.

It is for WOTLK, gosh...You have to be stupid not to see it, and they using rune marks, cause uhmmmm that is what the death knights going to be using in the game...And this page is only on the blizzard main site and the world of warcraft site and nothing else....You would think that if it is for Diablo 3 it would only be on the blizzard site only....And if you look at the art work from the WOTLK website the ice marks on there and the art work is the same.

All this hype around one stupid "teaser" :) Grab some air and relax;>

Personally, i think that if Blizz is going to announce Diablo III, it'll be at Blizzcon this year. as for these teasers, i think its for a New Blizzard game/franchise, not an existing one (Diablo/Warcraft/Starcraft/WoW)

What if its pertaining to all the above. It would explain the teasers. What if it was Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo

it could be any number of things, but what does ice have to do with diablo / starcraft? im thinking more along the linesof warcraft 4 or just more WOTLK announcements

The 'penguin' image, actually looks alot like a penguin pet from world of warcraft that a friend showed me a pic of. Possible goody bag gift?

Also, on the Blizzard Invitational website on the sidebar it lists their various games:WoW, SC2, WC3, D2, and then a blizzard symbol (clearly used as a place holder until they make the announcement as of what this new game is)

Well think about it, they haven't done anything press-wise with Starcraft 2 for a while now. Diablo has been untouched for god knows how long. And we also have WoTLK which has already had tons of information given to us and leaked. Now if it's for WoTLK, I'm thinking it's for Beta (since the game is currently in Alpha state and it's work is being progressed very quickly). Starcraft-wise, the obvious for the 2nd edition to the game and probably some type of Diablo product. However, I don't think it's going to be a Diablo MMO basically because they would be competing with themselves for money and fan-based.

Logically, does it make any sense to release another MMO when the one they have is still doing excellent? Especially with ANOTHER expansion coming closer and closer each day? Now all the hiring they did for "Next-Gen MMO" that's more along the lines of "better engine, better coding" in a versatile but unique way. It doesn't HAVE to mean it's a brand new MMO altogether. Consider it like this. NES to SNES. SNES is the next-gen product of NES. (Both are the same type, Nintendo...had about the same type of games, etc.) See my point?

Even with the merge ordeal with Activision, personally I don't see why they would have a new logo or have anything to do with advertising Activision. Activision flat out sucks imo.

WWI is the E3 for Blizz. They'll unvail everything they're working on. WotLK date, Starcraft 2 date (maybe), and tease us with more to keep us hooked (D3?, WoD?) and the whole Activision Logo thing. When you throw your companys Biggest party and invite the world, you pull out all the stops. :D

I think its a count down to lich king and a diablo anoucement. Maybe we are getting best of both worlds? As I stated before though I might be getting my hopes up for nothing lol.

it could be a countdown to the WotLK expansion pack - the new Deathknight characters are meant to use runes to cast certain abilites, so maybe these are new graphics for it.

Have you thought the name of firm is blizzard = ice :D maybe its just as symbol of their company and all they done and now something new will break through? maybe to arise sumthing familiar maybe something completley new
I LOVE BLIZZARD for this things they make the best quality games ever.. all their games can be played for decades and still not be borning

It's a bit of a stretch to say that the ice is revealing a starry sky behind, to me it looks more like just ice particles as the ice crumbles. Tomorrow may give a better indication if they are stars or not as the middle space becomes clearer.

Maybe WoW, Starcraft 2 and Diablo are all hinted in it.
Why focus on one game?

I think Blizzard will make announcements on all of the hinted games.

The image is not specific enough to link it to one game.
It's in the eye of the beholder, to see what game you find in it.

I don't like World of Diablo. I would hope that it would go more towards the original game, not just a WoW clone with new skins. That and I don't like the name, maybe "Underworld of Diablo"...
