Im not saying that those have ANYTHING to do with it being Diablo, I'm just trying to show how the splash could turn out being tommorow if the game is Diablo. I probably should of said that in the earlier comment ;D.

I hereby state that my guess that the game will be Diablo 3 has NOTHING to do with the altering of the splashes that i did. I just wanted to have a little fun and show some possibilities of tommorows splash if the game is announced to be Diablo 3. Sorry revan299s for the confusion xD.

you can change the colors all you want, but thats not meant to be viewed that way, dont get me wrong i think and hope its diablo 3 as well. but deciding its d3 by changing the colors, thats a bit much.

regardless if it has to do with the image or not, they will be announcing a NEW game.

I've read everyone's theories and examined the pictures myself. Unfortunately the answer could be any of the three titles. But which one would make you happiest? In my honest opinion, a new Diablo title would make me very happy. Why? Well I already know I'm getting SC2, and WotLK, there is not denying those releases. So why not hope for number three from Blizzard?

What part of one of the reps saying it had nothing to do with WOTLK or Starcraft aren't you guys understanding? LOL

Don't get me started on how I don't see how people are getting that there's going to be a brand new game announcement from that quote. Here it is:

It says game. not New game or new game franchise... And then you've just twisted it into not WotLK or Starcraft but then not including Diablo, so I'm thoroughly confused by your comment

I'm also mostly playing Devil's Advocate here. Blizzard has purposely put links to every game in the image so that we will sit here and argue about how it's this and not that but then oh it's that and not this. They don't want us to guess what it will be. At this point, no matter what the announcement is, someone will say "told ya so." It's either something to do with WotLK, Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft RTS, Lost Vikings, or something completely new. So if your *complete* guess is correct, enjoy your "I told you so" moment while I giggle that people actually think they can predict what Blizzard is doing.

The runes in the ice are the symbols of the various Protoss tribes; you can see them in the Starcraft instruction book. Just in case no one else noticed...

Yeah, I know. But I was just testing things. And that was the one
thing that fit best into the Teaser. I mean, the fog and everything
fits perfectly around the shape of the head. And the eyes are in
the same exact place.

I can't help but be amused at the comparison by Diablofans though. Yes, the actual triangle-type thing between the eyes is reversed... but are they ignoring the lines above the eyes? The only difference with that among the images is that in the actual Lich King image, the line isn't broken up. But it still looks like the "eyebrows" of the helm.

But I do agree that going with the obvious thing would be like not knowing Blizzard. We're all in for a treat I say.

I think I might have stumbled onto something. I really hope that I'm
wrong. But i did some stuff in photoshop. Doing overlays. And the
only thing that actually fit was a Protos from Starcraft. I really hope
that I'm wrong. But I don't think that I am. Just look at how well the
Protos face fits into the Picture.
