Possible WotLK beta soon?

I wold also LOVE to get in the WOTLK beta too. But let's face it the chances are small there will be millions of players trying to get a account on it.

Do not enter your acount info into any site that claims to be a World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Beta site. Put a thing on the WoW forums about this site and let Blizz deal with them and wait for them to post one on their site because those are the only actual beta tests.

In July Blizzard is hosting a festival in Paris. (Check the website.)

They stated that players would be able to play Wrath of the Lich King there.

This means it is definitely coming to a "conclusion" state and a Beta should be here soon.

Expect it to come out August or later.

Please tell me when it comes... i really wanna get this beta since i missed TBC beta >.<

Rumor is that Friends and Family Alpha starts within the next few weeks (NDA will be in full effect). If it follows TBC's testing period, the Beta will start 4-6 weeks after the FFAlpha starts. The beta will probably be 2-3 months, depending on how things go. TBC was supposed to be 2 months but it got delayed from the tail end of November to Mid January 2007.

Either way, I am guessing that Lich King is released in September or October.

For those that don't know, the Burning Crusade F&F Alpha started in late August of 2006 and then turned into Beta in the middle of October of 2006 (when the NDA was also dropped). Originally the game was slated for a November 2006 release, but then got delayed until Jan 2007.

Going off of that, we can anticipate that IF the Friends and Family Alpha starts in April, that the game will be out in September or October, but of course, Blizzard doesn't release crap so they will keep it in the oven until its done. Period.
